The KW V3 Racing is specially developed for Mercedes W201 Evo conversions for use on trackdays with semi-slicks on the track and is delivered as a MacPherson setup with a combined damper-spring unit on the front axle. In addition, the V3 Racing for the W201 already includes a set of Uniball camber dome bearings for camber adjustment.
You can adjust the rebound and compression damping yourself in 16 and 12 stages respectively without any tools using the precise adjustment wheels and thus perfectly tune the behavior of the dampers to your vehicle. This allows you to achieve greater directional stability, confidence in handling and can reduce roll when cornering.
Notes
Depending on the wheel setup, wheel spacers must be used on the front axle.
KW recommends an additional mounting of the lower ball joint due to the higher load caused by the Macpherson strut
We also recommend reinforcing the strut tower with a safety cell connected to the dome, reinforcing plates or a dome strut.
The suspension is manufactured individually to order.
