Delivery Times & Stock Status

We work transparently. For each product you’ll find an approximate delivery time, for example about 3-4 business days or about 10 business days. Details on delivery time and stock status are available on every product page, in the shopping cart and in your order confirmation, so you know exactly where you stand before you buy.

Global supply chains aren’t always predictable. That’s why we’d rather tell you honestly when a part is running low or on backorder, instead of hiding it.

Low Inventory

The product is in stock in the specified quantity, but the stock is running low. It pays to be quick, after that it can take a while until we’ve replenished.

Order Now

This item is temporarily sold out but already on its way back. We replenish stock as quickly as possible, and the goods are often already in production or on their way to our warehouse. The time shown for these items is your standard delivery time, meaning the normal duration once back in stock. For custom-made or specially sourced parts, the delivery time can still be longer.

By placing an order you secure your spot in the queue now: you’ll get your parts immediately once back in stock. First to order, first to be served.

Not in Stock

If the delivery time is several months or we cannot yet estimate it ourselves, we offer you the option to add yourself to our waiting list, so you’ll be informed by email when the product is available again.

The following times are guide values for in-stock items shipped from Germany. For exact costs, calculate your delivery directly in the cart or at checkout.

These guide values apply to items that are in stock. Custom-made items, backordered parts or items with a long delivery time may arrive later, the specific figure is then shown on each product. For deliveries abroad, customs clearance and local delivery can add extra time.

Shipping

As a rule we ship your complete order in a single shipment. Smaller items therefore arrive bundled together.

If your order contains larger or heavier parts such as exhaust systems or wheels, or if weight and insured value make it sensible, we split the shipment across several packages so everything reaches you safely.

If part of your order is on backorder, we normally wait until all items are available and then ship everything together. If it helps you, we also do partial deliveries so you get the available parts in your hands as quickly as possible. Just let us know.

If parts of your order have different delivery times and you need one of them more urgently, it’s often easiest to order separately: the in-stock parts in one order, the part with the longer delivery time in a second. If you only realize later that it needs to be faster, just drop us a message and we’ll find a solution.

As soon as your order is on its way to you, you’ll receive your tracking by email. You can also find it any time in your account under orders.

Prices, Shipping Costs and Delivery Information:

The prices quoted on the product pages include VAT and other price components.

We deliver worldwide! For most countries you can calculate your shipping costs directly in the shopping cart or at the checkout, for others a manual calculation of the shipping costs is necessary. This may also be the case if your order contains bulky goods.

Especially for bulky freight shipments, delivery to a business address is much cheaper, for example by air or sea freight. If you can provide a business address, just ask us for a quote.

The delivery times shown on the products relate to a delivery within Germany. For deliveries abroad, the guide values from the overview above apply.

Delivery Outside the EU: Customs and Import Taxes

We deliver worldwide, and for deliveries to countries outside the EU, import charges may apply in the destination country: import VAT, possibly customs duty, and a handling fee from the carrier. These charges are set by the destination country, not by us, and they are not included in our price unless we expressly state otherwise (see Norway).

No worries, in practice this is straightforward. We ship your order with DHL and include clean, correct customs documents so your parts clear customs quickly. If charges apply in the destination country, you pay them conveniently in advance. No paperwork, no nasty surprises at your door.

How high the charges are depends on the destination country and the type of goods. You’ll find a neutral overview for your country in DHL’s duty and tax calculator.

For larger orders, customs clearance can take a little longer than for small shipments. That’s normal and down to the checks in the destination country. We prepare the documents so it runs as smoothly as possible.

For deliveries to the USA we use DHL.

Shipping to Norway

Yes, we deliver directly to Norway, and it’s hassle-free for you: we handle the Norwegian VAT for you. The price at checkout is your final price, no customs handling, no extra fees at your door.

Shipping to UK

Orders to the United Kingdom for goods valued above 150€

For orders of goods to the United Kingdom, that are valued at €150 or above, we offer fast and affordable shipping with DHL. You can place your order directly on the store. The shipping costs will be calculated at checkout.

Orders to the United Kingdom up to 150€ value of goods

For shipping to the United Kingdom, we work with the forwarding service forward2me.

Here’s how it works:

You create an account at forward2me to get your personal german address.
You place your order at rpmdepot with your German forward2me address and benefit from low shipping costs within Germany.
forward2me will receive your package and you will get a notification. Now you can choose the best delivery method to the UK and conveniently pay via PayPal, credit card or bank transfer.
Your package will be shipped and usually arrives within 1-4 business days.

Notes

The shipping costs are clearly communicated to you in the shopping cart system and on the order page. To do this, you first have to enter a location.

There are no shipping costs for digital content (e-books, software, etc.).

For some product groups, we estimate a flat shipping fee. The shipping fee includes the statutory value added tax. Since VAT is calculated on the flat-rate shipping costs depending on the goods purchased, it can be reduced if goods are purchased at lower VAT rates (e.g. when purchasing books). This means that the flat-rate shipping fee can only be finally calculated during the ordering process. However, it cannot get higher, only lower in your favor.
