Die LS Zündspulen sind durch die Montage auf der Zylinderkopfhaube besonders für Turbo Umbauten oder zur Verwendung mit Fächerkrümmern geeignet wo eine Coil-on-Plug Zündspule zu großer Hitze ausgesetzt wäre.
