The MRE flat-slide throttle body gives you a historically correct, high-performance intake for Mercedes W201 16V race cars. Thanks to the design, at full load no throttle shaft sits in the intake port. The intake port cross-section is opened 100%.
In the base package you receive the flat-slide throttle body unit with integrated intake flange and linkage. For easy installation you can add the matching fuel supply incl. aluminum fuel rail and Bosch injectors as well as a carbon airbox (DTM spec 1989) with air filter housing. This is connected to the flat-slide throttle body with aluminum intake trumpets. A full-carbon airbox to DTM spec 1991 as well as further parts for the conversion are available at extra cost. Notes
To install the throttle body the oil filter housing must be relocated, and when used with the optional carbon airbox the smaller brake booster from 190E 8V or diesel models must be fitted.
The throttle body system is manufactured exclusively individually to order. Returns are excluded.
