This silicone hose is the replacement for hose A1020946382 on your Mercedes 190E 2.3-16. It sits between the idle control valve and the idle air distributor and is molded to the original shape, so it fits the original connections without modification.

Mercedes changed the hose layout on the 2.3-16 from engine number 983 10/50,20/60 008315. This hose only fits early 2.3-16 engines up to engine number 983 10/50,20/60 008314. If you are not sure whether you have an early or a late 2.3-16, check the engine number on the engine block.
