Original 16V side skirts are hard to find these days and usually need extensive restoration before they can be painted and fitted. For motorsport we have therefore offered a lightweight, more affordable fiberglass option for some time.
With the new carbon version from our premium line we go one step further and offer a side skirt set that, thanks to the TÜV parts certificate, you can also fit on a road car, not only on the track.
High-End
These high-end carbon parts are up to 20% lighter than a comparable fiberglass part, very stiff, and temperature-stable. That comes from the demanding process: carbon-fiber mats are pressed with high-performance epoxy resin under vacuum and tempered in controlled heat cycles. The result is an ideal mix of weight and strength.
Registration?
The parts are Made in Germany 🇩🇪 and, according to the TÜV SÜD Auto Service GmbH test report, the materials used are suitable for automotive parts because they meet the requirements for fracture and splinter behavior. With the certificate, the side skirt covers can be inspected and entered in the vehicle registration documents.
Notes
The parts ship unfinished and should be fitted to the car before painting or wrapping.
