Out with the Sensor Plate
On the EFI conversion of the M102 8V it is no longer the KE-Jetronic sensor plate that measures the incoming air; the ECU takes over mixture formation. With the adapter pipe you replace the bulky air flow meter housing with a flow-optimized intake pipe and give the intake tract of your Mercedes 190E a free cross-section.
The pipe sits in place of the old air flow meter and creates room to connect a charge-air or intake path. That way, when converting from KE-Jetronic to free injection, you get a clean air path without the flow resistance of the old sensor plate.
Compatibility
- 190E 1.8 (W201)
- 190E 2.0 (W201)
- 190E 2.3 (W201)
- 200E (W124)
- 230E (W124)
The whole conversion is also available as a complete package: the EFI Kit for the M102 8V brings all components together as a matched set.
Note
The adapter pipe is part of an EFI conversion and requires a matching ECU plus wiring harness. Without the rest of the EFI equipment it is not a standalone replacement part.
