A Reliably Clamped Cylinder Head

The ARP stud kit clamps the cylinder head of your M102 16V with significantly higher and more even clamping force than the stock torque-to-yield bolts. The studs pull the head down flat, hold combustion pressure even on boosted, high-revving builds and – unlike the single-use factory stretch bolts – can be reused. The kit comes with 12-point nuts, hardened washers and ARP Ultra-Torque assembly lubricant for accurate torque values.

Notes

Install the studs with the supplied ARP Ultra-Torque assembly lubricant and the manufacturer’s torque values. Check that the cylinder head and block surfaces are flat before fitting. Installation together with a fresh cylinder head gasket set is recommended.
