On a carburetor conversion your stock injection fuel pump delivers far too much pressure for the carbs. With this fuel pressure regulator you drop the line pressure to the right level and keep your stock fuel pump, the lines and the tank. That saves you from fitting a completely different fuel system.
The regulator sits in the supply line between pump and carbs and holds the pressure in the range carbs need. Mixture stays stable, whether you run open trumpets or K&N sport air filters.
