New: metal valves included free. In addition to wheel bolts and hub caps, every maxilite wheel set now also comes with a set of matching metal valves at no extra cost. They look considerably better on your alloy wheel than black rubber valves and are the more durable solution at the same time: salt- and acid-resistant, ready to fit with valve insert and metal cap.
The first 18-inch wheel for the classic range
With the Le Mans in 8.5×18 you get the first 18-inch wheel in the maxilite classic range. It is produced using the flow-forming process: the wheel bed is formed under pressure, which makes the wheel around 20 percent lighter than a conventional cast wheel at the same strength. This gives you the big 18-inch look on your 190E or W124 without unnecessarily increasing unsprung mass. In silver diamond-cut, the multi-spoke design combines a classic line with a modern appearance.

Registration?
The wheels come with a TÜV parts certificate (Teilegutachten), which we are happy to send you on request even before purchase, so you can clarify any questions beforehand. Otherwise you will receive the documents from us by email after purchase. That means nothing stands in the way of individual approval by your TÜV inspector. Approval as part of an H-registration for historic vehicles is also possible.
Tire sizes
According to the parts certificate, the following tire sizes are approved for the Le Mans 8.5×18: 235/40 R18, 245/40 R18 and 255/35 R18. You will find the exact approval per model series in the certificate, which we send you in advance on request.
Scope of delivery
You can choose between the single wheel and the complete set. With the set of four you get four wheels including matching wheel bolts and a free set of metal valves. On the Le Mans, the hub caps are fitted at the factory. We supply the single wheel without wheel bolts, ideal as a replacement or addition.
Simple & reliable
When you buy the wheels you receive a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty. Delivery is from a German warehouse, so the wheels reach you quickly and there are no customs charges within the EU. We are especially happy to receive customer photos of the wheels on your vehicle. Send us your photo by email or tag us on Instagram.
Notes
We recommend having the wheels fitted by a specialist workshop. Please make sure the fasteners can be tightened by at least 6 turns, observe the tightening torque specified by the vehicle manufacturer, and re-torque the fasteners after 50 km of driving to the prescribed torque. Please also check any notes in the relevant certificate.
