Better Than Stock
All Bastuck exhaust systems are made from high-quality V2A stainless steel and thus guarantee you lifelong rust freedom, a great look as well as a unique sound. Thanks to the high fit accuracy, problem-free mounting at the original points is possible.
Stock Look or Valved Exhaust
Besides a rear silencer with two angled 51mm tailpipes for lovers of the stock look, you have the option to choose a rear silencer with sporty 70mm dual tailpipe and exhaust valve.
The valve opens automatically at speeds above 70km/h and closes when falling below this limit. For you that means full performance and driving fun while at the same time complying with the regulations in road traffic. The valved exhaust also has an EC/ECE approval and therefore needs no registration.
Additionally you can take over control of the valve yourself with the radio remote included in the scope of delivery.
This is not permitted in public road traffic and the handheld transmitter may therefore only be used for motorsport purposes.
Registration?
Since the systems are modeled on the original and have an ECE marking, they can be mounted without issues and need no additional inspection. Also in the context of approval as a historic vehicle under §23 StVZO, the stainless steel exhaust system in stock look does not stand between you and historic registration.
Installation Notes
We recommend having the installation carried out in a specialist workshop using new exhaust rubbers as well as exhaust sealant at the slip joints. To prevent twisting of the system, the joints should ideally be secured with a small tack weld.
