With the steel strut brace, no registration needed, you increase the stiffness of the front end of your Mercedes W201 190E. This has a positive effect on handling and on maintaining alignment.
This is especially useful when converting to a MacPherson strut on the front axle, because larger loads act on the strut tower here and can be better absorbed and distributed by the strut brace.

Note
During installation a cutout must be made in the firewall in the area of the battery tray. The strut brace should be installed either on a lift or with the front end raised to avoid uneven stresses from lifting one side with a jack.
Depending on the top mount used, the mount may contact the brace.
