New: metal valves included free. In addition to wheel bolts and hub caps, every maxilite wheel set now also comes with a set of matching metal valves at no extra cost. They look considerably better on your alloy wheel than black rubber valves and are the more durable solution at the same time: salt- and acid-resistant, ready to fit with valve insert and metal cap.
Classic yet modern
The three-piece Aero wheels have become true rarities, but you can now get the legendary Aero look in a three-piece style from us in modern materials and manufacturing. That is a strong value for money and, above all, a safer way to run your dream wheels, because the magnesium wheel centers of original Aero wheels, now more than 30 years old, are prone to damage. While the wider sizes were often reserved for cars with larger arches, the 8-inch wide version makes fitment straightforward on cars like the W201 and W124.

Tire sizes
Tim’s 190E runs Hankook K107 tires in 195/40 R17 front and 215/35 R17 rear, plus a 12 mm spacer on the rear axle. Combined with 2- and 1-point spring rubbers, 60 mm H&R springs and longer steering limiters, it makes a coherent setup.
The classic tire size for up to 40 mm lowering with Eibach or H&R springs is 215/40 R17.
You will find all tire sizes in the certificate, which we are happy to send you in advance on request.
The pictured Mercedes W124 is fitted with 225/45 R17 tires and uses a 5 mm spacer for clearance to the 300-24 brake. With lowering, a fender spacer kit was also fitted and the fender lip rolled.

Dietmar’s 190E runs 215 tires up front and wider 225s in the rear for a well-filled arch with full daily usability.

Registration?
The wheels come with a TÜV parts certificate. We recommend discussing registration with your inspector in advance. Individual approval gives you more leeway for your preferred tire or a staggered setup with different front and rear widths and a deep lip. We are happy to provide all info on available Aero 3 versions. Approval as part of an H-registration for historic vehicles is also possible.
Simple & reliable
When you buy the wheels you receive a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty. Delivery is from a German warehouse, so the wheels reach you quickly and there are no customs charges within the EU. We are especially happy to receive customer photos of the wheels on your vehicle. Send us your photo by email or tag us on Instagram.
Notes
The original Mercedes hub cap with part number B66470202 is compatible with this wheel. We recommend having the wheels fitted by a specialist workshop. Please make sure the fasteners can be tightened by at least 6 turns, observe the tightening torque specified by the vehicle manufacturer, and re-torque the fasteners after 50 km of driving to the prescribed torque. Please also check any notes in the relevant certificate.

This wheel is not compatible with the Evo brake kit, W124 V8 or 300-24 brake. Fitment with a 24V brake is possible when using a 5 mm spacer.
